Reid Heliwork pride themselves on their excellent reputation and continuing safety record. The helicopter fleet is fastidiously maintained according to regulations and is flown by a team of experienced pilots, all having completed the Robinson pilot safety course. All operations conducted are approved and included under their CASA Air Operators Certificate (AOC: SQ584582). The R22 (VH-TBT) is a two seat helicopter used predominantly for mustering, feral animal control and other aerial work. The R44 (VH-HZQ & VH-ROM) is a larger capacity helicopter comfortably seating pilot and three passengers. It is the most up to date helicopter in it's class and provides fast cruise speeds , long range and good endurance. The unobstructed cabin area has no bulk head or post between front and rear seats assuring exceptional visibility for all passengers. Our helicopters are well equipped with quality intercom systems, moving map GPS navigation, cellular and satellite telephones, cargo hooks for lifting work and floats are available for over water operations in the R44.
