Reid Heliwork was established in 1998 by Mark & Donna Reid. Operating from the main base in Emerald (Central QLD) our helicopters fly throughout Queensland and travel to any state in Australia. The Reid Heliwork fleet includes Robinson R44 and Bell 206 helicopters. We have chosen these machines for their high performance, reliability and excellent safety record.

At Reid Heliwork we pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and continuing safety record. Our helicopter fleet is fastidiously maintained according to regulations and is flown by a team of experienced pilots, all having completed the Robinson pilot safety course. All operations conducted are approved and included under our CASA Air Operators Certificate (AOC: SQ584582).

The R44 is a 4 seat piston engined helicopter comfortably seating pilot and three passengers. It is the most up to date helicopter in it's class and provides fast cruise speeds , long range and good endurance. The unobstructed cabin area has no bulk head or post between front and rear seats assuring exceptional visibility for all passengers. The bell 206 is a 5 seat turbine engined helicopter comfortably seating pilot and four passengers. It has proven itself over many years as one of the most reliable workhorses in it's class. Our helicopters are well equipped with quality intercom systems, moving map GPS navigation, cellular and satellite telephones, cargo hooks for lifting work and floats are available for over water operations in the R44.
